The trial, and after
During the trial
For 30 days, counting install day, everyone on the Storacle user list sees the paid features, forecasting included. The trial uses no seat, and Storacle Home counts down the days left.
Without a seat
Paid views stay where they are, as locked tiles that say what each view does and how to unlock it, so you can see what a seat would add.
When the trial or a subscription ends
The paid features switch off, and measurement carries on. Nothing is deleted because paid ended: your history is kept for as long as your retention settings say, including any you lengthened while paying. Come back and it is all there.
Billing FAQ
Seats are purchased inside Storacle, from Manage License Seats on the Storacle user list. Once your org has a subscription, the same button opens the billing portal, where you change seats, update your card, or cancel.
Where do I purchase seats?
Inside Storacle, not on this site. Press Manage License Seats on the Storacle user list in Storacle Configuration to open checkout. The button appears for anyone who holds Storacle's billing permission; see Permissions for who has it.
Who needs a seat?
Only the people you assign one to, not every user in your org. You choose who holds the seats on the Storacle user list, and you can move a seat from one person to another there. Most orgs need one seat.
How soon do new seats reach my org?
Usually within a few minutes of payment. If they have not arrived after fifteen minutes, contact support.
How do I add or remove seats?
Change the seat quantity in the billing portal. Adding a seat takes effect at once and is billed right away, prorated for the rest of the month. Removing a seat takes effect at the end of the paid month, so nothing is taken away early.
How do I get into the billing portal?
There are two ways in. The usual one is Manage License Seats in Storacle Configuration, which opens the portal once your org has a subscription. You sign in with Salesforce, which proves you belong to the org and hold Storacle's billing permission, and the portal opens that org's billing. You can also go straight to Stripe's billing portal, enter your billing email, and Stripe emails you a sign-in link. That works for most people. If one billing email pays for more than one org, the emailed link may not open the org you meant, so use Manage License Seats from inside that org instead.
How do I update my card or cancel?
Both happen in the billing portal. Billing is month to month, so you can cancel any time. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the paid month: you keep the paid features until then, and nothing renews after that.
Can I change settings without a seat?
You can read every setting, and change Diagnostics, on the free tier. Changing the others needs a seat, and whatever you set while paying stays in force after a lapse. How Storacle Works covers the settings in detail.
Do you offer a nonprofit discount?
Yes. Request one through the contact form, and include the organization ID shown on the Storacle user list in Storacle Configuration.
